Condition
This is a stunning vintage Omega dating back to the mid 1981. The watch is in lovely condition and shows minor signs of wear. The movement is running perfectly and keeping great time having just been subjected to a full service. Please study pictures as they form part of the description. This piece also comes with its original presentation box, International Guarantee and 'You and Your Omega' booklet.
Dial - This Omega features a stunning brushed silver which shows some light marks which are only visible in certain light.
Crystal - The crystal is in brilliant condition and shows little signs of wear whatsoever.
Case - The case is in beautiful condition and shows just light wear.
Bracelet - The bracelet catch has at some point broken off and the bracelet has been repaired with a new plate and catch which has been soldered on. This is very visible as you will see from the photographs, but is hidden when on the wrist. The bracelet is otherwise in really nice condition which is why someone has gone to the trouble of having it repaired. We can put a new leather strap onto the watch should the next custodian wish us to do so.
Back case - The back case is in original condition and holds a few scratches from tools which is common for any watch.
Movement - The manual wind movement is in excellent cosmetic condition as well as working very well mechanically having just been subjected to a full service. The watch is keeping time well within specification.
Crown - The crown is original and fully functional. The date is changed by pulling the crown out 1 click and rotating it.
Clasp - The clasp is in excellent condition showing light signs of wear. Please see notes above on a previous repair.
