Condition

Presented in fantastic condition is this timeless Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date from the 1970s. This piece features an amazing and original silver sunburst dial which displays original and crisp applied text and baton markers and a date complication, which is viewed through the Rolex cyclops lens. The watch is in spectacular condition - one of the nicest examples - and is running perfectly with the movement being in exceptional mechanical order. 

Dial - The sunburst dial is in near mint condition. It shows very little signs of wear whatsoever. There are light signs of age showing on hands, which is only visible under magnification.  

Case - The case is in brilliant condition for its age and shows only extremely light signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original 1500 Rolex self-winding movement which again is in perfect working condition.

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows only extremely light signs of wear despite of use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - This piece features its original Oyster bracelet with a signed Rolex clasp which is in fantastic condition showing only minimal signs of wear. 

Crystal - Fantastic condition with cyclops magnification on the date window, pristine throughout except for a couple of little scuffs on the outer edge which are not visible.
